DOCUMENTARY:

Just Qids is a documentary where we get to hear directly from the kids and teens what it’s like to be young and queer in Texas at this moment. It positions the joy of queer youth against the harsh politics of Texas as a protest. This film is in production but currently on haitus.

FEATURE FILM:

All Wounds is a contained drama feature in post-production. A physicist invents time travel to correct a horrible mistake but arrives after the tragedy to meet her suicidal younger self. Together, she must learn self-love in order to survive. The film is awaiting its premiere and was recently awarded the ReFrame stamp.

Stalked is in post-production awaiting color correction. Thriller. A lesbian couple is gifted with a strange salad and soon discover they are being stalked.

Movement is complete and awaiting its festival premiere. Drama. Its stars Libby Villari (Boyhood, Friday Night Lights, Ann) and Kelly Dealyn, who has been in all my films to date! A mother and daughter meet at the Zoo to find a way forward in their damaged relationship. This is the proof-of-concept for my feature Trap Doors. The film premiered at the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival on opening night. It won Outstanding Achievement in Direction. It also won a platinum Remi at WorldFest Houston and Best Supporting Actress (Kelly Dealyn) at Reel East Texas. It was a semifinalist at Flickers Rhode Island FF.

IRA: Cashing In had its festival premiere. Comedy. It stars legendary actor Gary Clarke (The Virginian, Tombstone) and Bernadette Maloney. My second film as writer/director. It’s about a retired Irish couple who use the skills they learned during the Troubles to save their American granddaughter from the US healthcare system. Winner of Best Comedy Screenplay at Austin Micro Short Film Festival. Winner of Best Actor (Gary Clarke) at the Austin Spotlight Film Festival and Best Comedy at Austin Under the Stars Film Festival. Ran for one month on www.iwoman.tv.

Suspended had its festival premiere. Drama. This film marks my directorial debut. It’s about a twelve-year-old girl who is suspended in grief and from her middle school. Nominated for Best Director and Best Narrative Short at Austin Spotlight FF and winner of Wonder Woman award, nominated for Best Ensemble and Best Narrative Film at Austin Under The Stars FF.
